ABSTRACT:
The article is devoted to the analysis of the educational process of training future specialists for the pharmaceutical sector of the healthcare system of Ukraine, namely industrial pharmacy, and to the comparison of the characteristics of the educational process in different countries of the European Union. The article pays special attention to the formation of requirements for cross-cutting, regulated specialties, which are specialty I8 "Pharmacy (by specialization)", specialization I8.02 "Industrial Pharmacy". The relevance of the study is also justified by the fact that a number of changes are taking place during martial law in Ukraine, in fact in an uncertain environment, one of the important factors of which was the shortage of pharmaceutical personnel against the background of migration processes in the country and the simultaneous introduction of new stringent requirements for the educational process of training masters of industrial pharmacy. The originality of the conducted research lies in the analysis of the human resources potential of a real industrial pharmaceutical enterprise and the identification of the undeniable fact that positions requiring higher education can be equally occupied by specialists in the following specialties: pharmacy, industrial pharmacy; biotechnology and bioengineering; chemistry; engineering. The educational programs of specialties in pharmacy and biotechnology and bioengineering of various higher education institutions in Ukraine and the countries of the European Union were analyzed. It was established that the requirements for applicants to these specialties are not the same, since the passing score for pharmacy is regulated and constantly high in Ukraine. The educational program in the specialty of pharmacy requires applicants to pass the unified state qualification exam "Krok-1", " Krok -2", and in the future " Krok -3". It has been proven that tuition fees for educational programs in pharmacy are very high in Ukraine, but may be symbolic in some EU countries, such as Austria and Germany. According to the above research data, as well as taking into account the need for mandatory military registration of not only pharmaceutical specialists, but also students, starting from the first year of study, established by the legislator in 2025, a serious shortage of pharmaceutical specialists can be predicted. The steps taken by the Government of Ukraine to support the level of human resources potential of the pharmaceutical sector of the healthcare industry of Ukraine should be more decisive, and the standards of pharmaceutical education should be implemented in accordance with the standards of the European Union countries.
