ABSTRACT:
Virosomes are nanoscale structures that combine viruses and liposomes, encapsulating therapeutic molecules or antigens. They have potential applications in drug delivery, vaccination, and gene therapy. Their unique ability to fuse with cellular membranes enhances therapeutic efficacy and reduces side effects. Virosomes can induce robust immune responses against diseases and cancers, and can be used in gene delivery, targeted drug delivery systems, and personalized medicine. Advancements in virosome engineering are being explored.
