ABSTRACT:
A type of antiviral medicine called molnupiravir is used to treat viral infections. Using green solvent as methanol, a precise and affordable UV spectrophotometric technique has been created. It was demonstrated how to determine the Molnupiravir concentration in pharmaceutical dose formulations and bulk samples at a preset ? max of 236nm. Beer limitations were found to have a regression equation of (y=0.0457x-0.0031) and an excellent correlation coefficient (R2=0.999). The quantity of molnupiravir in marketed brands from local markets was determined using this method successfully, and the results were in excellent agreement with the claim on the label. According to the standards of the International Conference on Harmonisation (ICH), the method's linearity, accuracy, precision, robustness, and ruggedness were all validated. The obtained outcomes demonstrated the method's suitability for regular analysis of Molnupiravir in bulk as well as formulation.
