ABSTRACT:
Three new spectrophotometric methods have been developed for the simultaneous determination of combined dosage forms of Teneligliptin and Metformin tablets. Simultaneous equation method (Method A), Q-analysis (Method B) and First derivative (Method C) spectrophotometric methods were developed for the quantification of Teneligliptin and Metformin in sodium hydroxide. Linearity was observed 1-100 µg/ml and 1-35 µg/ml in Method A; 1-60 µg/ml and 1-35 µg/ml in both Method B and Method C for Teneligliptin and Metformin respectively. All the methods were validated as per ICH guidelines and applied for the simultaneous determination of Teneligliptin and Metformin in tablets.
