ABSTRACT:
Streptococcus pneumonia is a gram-positive bacteria present in the shape of a slightly pointed lancet-shaped cocci. The bacteria frequently colonize the upper respiratory tract and act as reservoir for lower respiratory tract infection. In this work we used strain D39, virulent bacterial strains of streptococcus pneumoniae. D39 is a serotype2 strain consisting of 1996 Proteins and 2220 Genes respectively. Strain D39 act virulent in marine infection models, D39 is involved in the function for Pneumococcal Pathogenesis. Here we performed Homology Modeling and Computational Methods to obtain structure for models of selected targets. Then the protein synthesized offers as a possible drug target using computation process. Ligands of these proteins were taken from drug port and its analogues were retrieved from pubchem. Discovery studio was used to dock these ligands with modeled proteins and the ADMET properties of the analogs were also studied. Then the drug target obtained is used to validate target sites.
