ABSTRACT:
Simple, sensitive and accurate HPLC method has been developed for the estimation of Lopinavir in pharmaceutical dosage forms. Lopinavir is an antiretroviral drug. Chromatographic separation was conducted on phenomenex lunar (250x4.6mm, 5µ) column at temperature 35°C, using a mobile phase composition of Acetonitrile: Water (70:30). The flow rate was 1ml/min and effluent was monitored at 198nm. The proposed method was validated as per the ICH guidelines. Evaluation of all the validation parameters suggested that the acceptance criteria were met. The proposed method can be used for routine analysis for the estimation of Lopinavir.
