ABSTRACT:
The incidence ofapoptosis in peripheral blood lymphocytes for normal anddiabetic type 2 patients was conceder in this study .cells viability for normal and test groups showed 4.25%±0.64 for normal and8.9166% ± 1.14 for DT2 patients, the occurrences of apoptosis in control and test groups were also investigated a DNA binding stain (Hoescht stain ).The percentages ofapoptotisisin lymphocytes showed asignificant difference between normal (3.833%±0.76) and diabetic (11.4166%±1.42). A high proportion of apoptotic lymphocytes in diabetic type 2 patients may explain the impaired immune function in diabetic patients.
