ABSTRACT:
Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is one of the most common types of malignancies that carries poor prognosis worldwide. Accumulating evidences suggest the beneficial effects of amino acid-depleting enzymes in lowering the risk of various cancers. Herein, we investigated the in vitro antioxidant (DPPH ) and anticancer effects of L-glutaminase produced by Idiomarina sediminum; H1695 against Hep-G2 cell lines by MTT assay. Collectively, these findings indicate a crucial role of L-glutaminase in liver cancer.
