ABSTRACT:
Introduction: Silver nanoparticle shows modern optical properties, which is observed neither in a molecule nor bulk metals. Materials and Methods: In the present study silver nanoparticles,AgNPs were produced by physics method using YAG system (Q-switched Nd-YAG laser system type HUAFEI) of a silver nitrate aqueous solution (AgNO3). The AgNPs were characterized using UV-VIS spectrometer and Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM). Results: The peak in the absorption spectra of asilver solutionwas showed an absorption max of 450 nm, which is indicated AgNPs formation. The AgNPs obtained using a laser used for the antibacterial such as S. aureus and K.pneumonia collected from Najaf city, Iraq. Conclusions: The advantages of using YAG laser in the synthesis of silver nanoparticles are environmentally friendly.
