ABSTRACT:
Glutathione is a master of antioxidants and is manufactured in the liver, where three amino acids are used. Glutathione has several functions in the body. However, it is a strong and effective antioxidant. As the body makes a substance without any shortage.
In the present study, the effect of two types of ionizing radiation on the glutathione has been used, first is gamma radiation and laser (Nd:YO4) with a wavelength (532nm), Lasers with low Intensity (LLLI), 20 sample for every type of radiation.
The results showed that the concentration of Glutathione in the irradiated samples increased with a low dose of gamma (0.25 and 0.5) Gy, However, the concentration decreased rapidly with increased dose of radiation (1and 2)
But using laser effect a continuous increase in the concentration of glutathione was observed in low doses of ?-ray (0.25 and 0.5)Gy. However, the concentration decreased rapidly with increased dose of radiation to (1 -2)Gy.
By using laser (LLLI) affect glutathione centration continuous increase with increasing the time of exposure (5, 10 and 15)mint (5,10 and 15)mint.
