ABSTRACT:
The objective structured clinical examination is a modern type of examination often used in health sciences. It is designed to test clinical skill performance and competence in skills such as communication. It is precise and objective allowing uniform testing of students for a wide range of clinical skills. Unlike traditional clinical exam, the OSCE could evaluate areas most critical to performance of health care professionals.
