ABSTRACT:
An analysis has been carried out to describe the impact of presence of magnetic ?eld and mass transfer of viscous ?uid over a horizontal stretching cylinder embedded in a porous medium with chemical reaction. The problem is modelled mathematically and the governing partial differential equations are converted into non-linear differential equations by using suitable similarity transformations. The resulting non-linear coupled differential equations are solved numerically by using fourth order Runge-Kutta scheme together with shooting method. The impact of significant parameters on velocity, temperature, concentration, skin friction coefficient and the Nusselt number has been studied and numerical results are presented graphically and in tabular form.
