ABSTRACT:
Aim: To analyse about information seeking behaviour (ISB) of undergraduate biology students of first year and final year students. Objective: To find out how information seeking behaviour from first year to final year undergraduate changes and analyse the various factors related to it. Materials and method: 50 undergraduate first year students, 50 undergraduate final year students. A questionnaire containing 14 questions related to various facets of information seeking behaviour would be administered to analyse their difference in methodology and various factors. Information of scientific knowledge of subject and exploration of new ideas and concepts is an essential behaviour among health care students and we aim to assess this behaviour. Reason : To have a better understanding of the information seeking behaviour among first year and final year undergraduate biology students and to analyse the impact of clinical exposure on this aspect.
