ABSTRACT:
It is a descriptive study to be carried out in dental students, faculties and clinicians. Data collection is obtained by means of structured questionnaire for ergonomic factors. The variables will be divided into presence of pain, affected zones, gender, posture and environment. The study was conducted among 475 individuals .After analysing the data collected statistically 94.1% of the individuals suffered from pain in their lower back zone and 88.4% of the individuals had pain in their neck zone. 82.7% of the individuals had pain in their upper back zone. High number of individuals suffered from pain in their lower back region and it is caused due to improper posture and type of the dental procedures done in their clinics. There is as cope for further decreasing the prevalence and severity of the sedisorders by performing regular specific exercises.
