ABSTRACT:
A simple, selective, accurate and precise RP-HPLC method has been developed for estimation of low content of Fenpiverinium bromide in their combined dosage form of Metamizole sodium and Pitofenone Hydrochloride of high content. The developed method uses Sodiumdihydrogenphosphate and Methanol (66:34%V/V) as the mobile phase with flow rate of 1ml/min at 210nm using supelcosil LC-CN column. The method was developed in terms of Linearity concentration range of 6.980-12.930 mcg/ml. For method validation, the Robustness results in range of 98.50 to 101.20% of satisfactorily results obtained. Mean recoveries of 100.23% with its RSD of 0.5% were achieved.
