ABSTRACT:
It has been observed that though an important health indicator, oral hygiene is mostly remained as an ignored and unrealized but major social problem. Most of the people are unaware about relationship between oral hygiene and systemic diseases or disorders. Most of the diseases though showing their first appearance through oral signs and symptoms; remain undiagnosed or untreated which further leads to development of serious health problems and many of them are fatal. Unhealthy mouth develops unhealthy body, so maintain good oral hygiene; to maintain overall hygiene. If there are no enough reasons to take good care of your mouth, teeth and gums, the relationship between your oral health and your overall health provides even more. Resolve to practice good oral hygiene every day. As it is rightly said that while doing so you are making an investment in your overall health, not just for now, but for the future too.
